IAG Signs ‘Bottoms’ Actress Ruby Cruz
Posted by Veronique on Feb 10, 2024

Independent Artist Group has signed Ruby Cruz, one of the young stars of Orion’s critical darling Bottoms, for representation.

Cruz appears opposite Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri in the teen comedy, directed by Emma Seligman, which hit theaters in the U.S. via MGM in August following a buzzy debut at the SXSW Film Festival. Co-written by Seligman and Sennott, the film watches as two unpopular queer high school students start a fight club in order to get laid before graduation.

Cruz played Hazel Callahan, a shy outsider who is friends with Edebiri’s Josie and Sennott’s PJ.

On the television side, Cruz was most recently seen starring in the Disney+ series Willow, produced by Imagine Entertainment and Lucas Television, which served as a sequel to the same-name 1988 fantasy adventure flick starring Warwick Davis. Previously, she portrayed a teenaged Lizzy Caplan in Hulu’s Castle Rock, also appearing in a major role opposite Kate Winslet on HBO’s acclaimed crime drama series Mare of Easttown.

Cruz continues to be represented by Landsburg Management.

New movie!
Posted by Veronique on Jan 6, 2024

“Three’s a Crowd” will be filming in Little Rock starting Jan. 10 through Feb. 11. The movie showcases the story of a boy, Connor, who gradually begins to find his way into a relationship with the girl he’s been in love with his whole life, Olivia. That sounds great and everything, except he’s just had a one-night stand with someone else… and that may complicate things. That’s only the beginning of a complicated yet funny journey that explores trust, responsibility and the true nature of love.

The stars of the new movie are:

Zoey Deutch – You’ll see several familiar productions on this star’s resumé, including “Not Okay,” “Zombie Land: Double Tap,” “Before I Fall,” “Dirty Grandpa,” “The Politician” and many more. She is also the daughter of actress Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch.

Jonah Hauer-King – Most recently for his portrayal of Prince Eric in the live-action version of “The Little Mermaid,” alongside Halle Bailey, he is currently ranked in IMDb’s “Top Stars of 2023” list.

Ruby Cruz – Popularly known for her portrayal of Disney’s first openly queer Disney princess, Kit Tanthalos, in “Willow,” Cruz also starred as Jess Riley in the TV mini-series, “Mare of Easttown,” alongside Kate Winslet.
